OUR VISITOR POLICY

We are currently welcoming all visitors to Bournewood. However, we ask that you try to limit the number of visitors coming at one time due to space restrictions on the units. Please also be mindful of visit length so that all patients have a chance to receive visits.

Upon arrival to campus, all visitors should check in at the front desk inside the Stedman Administration building. You will be given a visitor badge and asked to sign in prior to visiting. Any items brought with you can be stored in a secure locker at the front desk, and a key will be provided to you to lock your items. We do restrict items brought to the units, including cell phones. If items are being brought in for a patient, a staff member will collect and search them upon arrival to the inpatient unit, to ensure all items are safe for patient use.

In order to keep our patients and staff safe, if you are feeling sick or have respiratory symptoms please refrain from visiting at this time.

Our suggested visiting hours are Weekdays from 4 to 8 p.m. and Weekends 12-8 p.m. to allow for the least amount of disruption to the patient’s treatment.

For any questions on visits, timing, or concerns with visitations please contact the patient’s treatment team directly to discuss.

Thank you for helping us keep our patients and staff safe and well.
