Ambulatory Services Manager
Description: Responsible for the overall functioning of the Partial Hospital Programs for adults and adolescents with mental health and substance use disorders including the development and evaluation the group program, hiring, orienting and evaluating staff, marketing program and facilitating communication with external referral sources. Also responsible for the development and management of the budget, developing policies and procedures, ensuring the programs meet the requirements of accrediting and or regulatory agencies as well as contracted insurers. Supervises or delegates supervision to experienced clinicians for all clinical and non-clinical staff. Ensures the assignment of case managers/clinicians for all clients and that documentation of care meets standards established within each program. Serves on hospital committees as assigned.
Start Date: ASAP
Qualifications: Master in Social Work from an accredited school of Social Work; must be licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as an LICSW. Experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment for adults and adolescents. Requires 3 – 5 years of administrative, supervisory and management experience. Strong organization and interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment is required.
