Job Title: Assistant Facilities Manager Lowell and Brookline Locations
Description: The Assistant Facilities Manager is responsible for the supervision, operation and safety of the physical plant in Lowell which
ncludes: Plant Operations, Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Security. You are responsible for Hospital’s Safety Management Program,
Life Safety Program and the Environment of Care under the supervision of the Director of Support Services. This position also performs
maintenance responsibilities on the Brookline campus.
Essential Competencies: You must have strong communication skills, knowledge of Life Safety Codes and the ability to confirm facility
compliance with the Life Safety Code through the management of the Joint Commission’s statement of conditions. Knowledge of building and equipment maintenance; OSHA regulations; familiarity with state and local building codes, and the ability to read blue prints and floor plans.
You must also possess specialty skills such as the ability to prepare surfaces, including patching and plastering of walls and trim work, for the purpose of providing high quality painting projects. You must be able to operate dollies, power tools, hospital vehicles, lawn equipment, and
snow removal equipment. You must have a working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing.
Location: Lowell and Brookline (one full time position)
Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience in building equipment maintenance and 2 years supervisory experience. Experience in a
healthcare environment is preferred. You must have a valid driver license, and a good driving record.
