Description:
Responsible for cleaning, preparing high quality, cost effective meals, monitoring special diets as assigned, cooking, garnishing and serving foods. Works a rotating holiday schedule. Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains the cleanliness of cooking equipment and production areas. Cleans and sanitizes juice machines and other areas within the Dietary Department. Maintains the overall cleanliness of all dietary areas, sets up tables for patient meals, records temperatures from dish machine to temperature chart, serves meals to patients, prepares and delivers snacks to units, washes dishes in dish room. Approximate number of hours per week will be 10-15.
